The Resistor is a slower overstable fairway driver with more controllable speed. It has a flat profile that makes it excellent for forehand flick and overhand shots. The Resistor provides a more overstable driver. It will "resist" turn and experience a strong reliable fade.
R2 Neutron is the latest material from MVP and their first step towards making disc golf a more reusable and environmentally sustainable sport. Replicating the look and feel of classic Neutron, this plastic will only be available in black cores with white rims (to differentiate from the classic MVP lineup). R2 Neutron discs will fly the same as their Neutron counterparts.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first company to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 40+ and counting - that implement the new molding process.
