The Phi is the second disc from EV-7. It is a beadless putter that is slightly less stable than their first disc, the Penrose. It features a semi-deep profile with a smooth, rounded geometry that is stable enough to handle headwinds and to tackle long approach shots with unmatched glide.
EV-7 has a baseline premium material, OG Blend. It is a tactile, grippy blend of TPE's, polymers, and impact resistors for superb grip and a confidence inspiring feel in the hand. It's uniquely durable for a baseline disc golf plastic, standing up to the abuse of metal, tree, and ground strikes.
OG Blend comes in four different flexes to fit any tactile preference and putting style: OG Soft, OG Base, OG Medium, and OG Firm.
EV-7 was founded on July 15, 2020, by former tour champion Phil Arthur. His list of accomplishments include PDGA Hall of Fame National Tour Winner, 2009 Masters World Champion, and oh - he co-founded Prodigy Disc. He founded EV-7 to create the best line of disc golf putters on the market through advancements in design, consistency, durability, and texture and feel.
