The Element is a fantastic all around midrange and one of the best discs that Gateway makes outside of their putter line. This disc will hold any angle you throw with unbelievable glide. If you throw it flat it will go extremely straight with very little fade at the end of its flight. Anhyzers will keep turning, and hard-thrown hyzers will flip up to flat.
Think of it as a sexy Mako3. It behaves like a Mako3... but with curves.
NXT (Nylon Xtra Tuff) is a prototype material developed in collaboration with the fine crew at NYCO. This is made with the most durable plastic blend on the market.
As their name implies Gateway is based in St. Louis and has been active in the disc golf community since 1994. When they're not busy help design disc golf courses (the current count is over 90!) they have created a special line of discs including their popular putter the Wizard.
They were the first to develop wide-winged drivers to battle wicked headwinds and currently have over 32 PDGA-approved models available in three plastic blends: Diamond, Platinum and Sure Grip. They've recently started working with hemp polymers which is sure to attract a, uh... um... new market of players.
