Divergent Discs designed the Nuno putter to be a more traditional putting putter with a flatter top than their first putter, the Narwhal. With its deep, beadless rim it feels good coming out of the hand and perfect for those touchy shots around the green.
To keep things simple Divergent Discs has just one plastic type. Their Max Grip plastic is very grippy and malleable, and offers a comfortable amount of flexibility. On the scale of base plastic to premium plastic, this would be classified as a mid-grade plastic. Despite being the only plastic option for the majority of their discs, this makes a great all-around plastic.
This material will give a high level of confidence while putting. At the same time, it's hard and stiff enough that it can handle hitting hard surfaces.
Divergent Discs is a bit different than other disc manufacturers. Instead of going out and working with the Paul McBeth's of the disc golf world they have instead focused on the everyday recreational player. They design their discs with three objectives in mind: keep things simple (no need for a bunch of different plastics types and a gazillion molds), make discs that are easy to throw (we like this one), and keep things affordable. Pretty good focus if you ask us.
