The word "tuff" is a common word in Swedish for something, or someone, that is resilient and won’t back down, with an attitude to boot. And Kastaplast went with it for the name of their new putter since it ain't scurred of anything on the course. It has a rounded profile with a small bead which can handle some torque and provides plenty of glide.
K3 Hard is the base line plastic offered by Kastaplast – grippy in all conditions. This line of plastic gives that nice worked in feel pretty quickly. Compared to other base plastics, K3 Hard is hard.
Known for having some of the best plastic in the business, Kastaplast is probably the most popular import in the disc golf market in the US. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, they are also well-known for the level of engineering and design they put into each one of their molds.
As their name implies - it literally translates to "throw plastic" - all of their hard work is geared towards creating the ultimate disc golf experience. And, yes, it is true. We are working very hard to get them to change their name to Kastaplast Skrikyeet - literally "Throw plastic, scream YEET".
