The biggest difference is the whale has a smaller bead and slightly smaller profile. It's also better for harder throws since it's less susceptible to torque. The Whale is designed for players looking for consistent flights regardless of how hard they throw. It flies like a driver and lands like a putter. Good thing it doesn't fly like an actual whale. That would be... not optimal.
