Just what the Luna needed - rings! The UltraLuna is very similar in size to its namesake, but comes with rings on the outer part of the flight plate, similar to the rings found on a Discraft Ultrastar. It has a slightly larger cavity under the flight plate which should make it glidier than the Luna, and indications are it's more stable than a Luna.
Evidently Discraft is wanting to "get freaky" with their plastics. Gone is the Pro-D plastic. Say hello to the Putter Line! This plastic feels close to the Pro-D, but has the smell and texture of Jawbreaker. And is softer than Putter Line. Duh.
OK, we get it. There are waaaaay toooooo maaaany zzz's in the Buzzz. But have you thrown one? There's a reason why it's one of the most popular mid-range discs for pros and amateurs alike.
And Discraft didn't stop there. They have created a very successful lineup of discs and unique plastic blends. I mean, they got Paul McBeth throwing their stuff! That's huge!
