The much-anticipated Titanium is a straight to understable fairway driver. A fun disc to throw, it can be manipulated to do anything - a steep hyzer, the flip-to-flat on a moderate hyzer, a sexy flex on a flat throw, holding an anhyzer for a long time, or even work as a roller disc. Its relatively low profile makes it quite good for forehands as well.
For the design of the Titanium, the guys at Løft Discs featured all the design qualities that creates the best feeling discs possible. Smooth transitions, smooth edges, a very subtle dome and an almost flat underside of the outer rim. The relatively low profile increases the speed a little bit, but that's adjusted by making the rim a tiny bit thinner than most other 7-speeds. This is also why the disc is pretty torque resistant relative to its speed and stability.
The α-Solid plastic is the most durable plastic used by Løft Discs. It offers excellent grip for driving purposes, while having a medium stiffness and a shiny surface finish. The line of Hydrogen putters made with α-Solid is perfect for driving and throwing.
Proving once again that Northern Europe may be ground central for disc golf innovation, Denmark's Løft Discs started cranking out ideas about what would constitute the straightest flying putter during the summer of 2020. Through half a year of collaboration with Kastaplast on his bachelor's project in mechanical engineering, founder Niels Sørensen developed the beginning of what turned out to be their flight path simulator. With the assistance of good friend, economist and founder, Asger Sandahl, they succeeded in actually simulating flight paths of discs in 3D. This sparked the idea of using the tool to develop discs, instead of relying solely on assumptions and experience. And, not too much time later, the Hydrogen putter was born. Since then, they have continued to pump out an unique lineup of discs.
