The Flare was the first overstable distance driver from Streamline. They designed it to produce flights with minimal turn and ending with an overstable finish. It also was the debut of the 19mm Driver class making it the first Streamline Speed 9 disc. It's a versatile disc that can handle the highest power throws, fight the strongest winds, and is useful for a wide range of utility shots.
Streamline is a new company from MVP Disc Sports. And while MVP has perfected overmolding, they wanted the chance to come up with a more classical line of "solo-mold" discs. Thus, Streamline was born.
They've also managed to - ahem - streamline their production process for their new molds to ensure a consistent line of discs that avoid the hassles sometimes confronted with other lines of discs.
