The Ion has highest glide with just a small amount of overstable fade at the end of the flight. This makes it a great long-range putter for disc golfers of all skill levels.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first comapny to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 39 and counting - that implement the new molding process.
