Swedish for "fast" the Rask is a concept disc that Kastaplast developed as they were engineering a way to reduce drag while the disc is in flight. It's super-fast and very overstable so only those with the fastest most powerful arms will get the full effect of the disc's flight.
Being less than 22 mm wide at the rim, the Rask proves that a disc’s speed cannot be determined by looking at the width of the rim. Those who want the fastest disc available, without the widest rim, should reach for the Rask. But be forewarned - while some players swear by it, others have suggested that it should come with a warning sticker on it!
Known for having some of the best plastic in the business, Kastaplast is probably the most popular import in the disc golf market in the US. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, they are also well-known for the level of engineering and design they put into each one of their molds.
As their name implies - it literally translates to "throw plastic" - all of their hard work is geared towards creating the ultimate disc golf experience. And, yes, it is true. We are working very hard to get them to change their name to Kastaplast Skrikyeet - literally "Throw plastic, scream YEET".
