The Mentor is a new distance driver being released as part of Discmania's Active lineup. It's designed to optimize distance by combining a high speed turn with a slow speed stability to make a distance driver that can be used by all players. It has the widest rim currently made in the Active lineup, which helps it to cut through the air and gives it consistent flight.
Active plastic is the base level plastic, available for all products. This solid plastic blend offers a great grip in all weather conditions and will wear gradually.
Started by Finnish professional disc golfer Jussi Meresmaa, Discmania is taking its mantra of "Reinvent Your Game" seriously by offering innovative products like the P2 putter used by many professionals, and the DD3 driver.
No word what DD3 means in Finnish though. We think it means "Dang tree". Well, at least when we throw it with our noodle arm.
