Don't let the name fool you - this disc was made by MVP on purpose! The Glitch is a hybrid disc that blurs the lines between a disc golf disc and a catch disc. It has the diameter of a putter (and is PDGA approved!) and is the first MVP disc with a 7 glide. Neutron Soft plastic makes the Glitch easily catchable when throwing around with a friend, but it also makes the Glitch an awesome approach or scramble disc because of its tendency to sit where it lands. It comes in weights of 140g to 154g.
MVP's Fission is an Ultra-Lightweight Neutron Core plastic with imperceptible micro-bubbles. The bubbles allow for more lightweight discs. Light throwing weight can give you greater distance and accurate feel in low wind conditions.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first comapny to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 39 and counting - that implement the new molding process.
