The MX-2 is an overstable midrange that can resist a good amount of torque. The beadless design provides a clean grip for all hand sizes, ensuring a smooth release to go with predictable flight and consistent fade. The MX Series from Prodigy contains midranges that are slightly smaller in diameter and slimmer in profile. The MX-2 packs a similar stability to the M1, but with more glide and a later fade in its flight path.
750 Glimmer is a premium, high-tech resin blend that builds on Prodigy’s standard 750 plastic by embedding fine metallic specks giving the discs a striking sparkle in the sunlight. Key characteristics include extreme durability and firmness, predictiable feel and flight, flashy visual appeal, and good in hot temperatures.
Prodigy was founded on the idea to constantly inject innovation into the sport. Their original mission was to develop a more consistent range of discs no matter if they were thrown by seasoned veterans - like their founders - or those new to the game. Longer flight and improved accuracy is their main focus as they developed their full line of discs.
In 2013 they introduced a line of discs to the toughest audience they could think of - the highest ranked players in the world. And the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We still can't believe that our invitation to the introduction was lost in the mail. At least, that's what they told us.
