The All-New Prodigy M5 Disc – More Midrange Magic
The Prodigy M5 has undergone a full redesign, and the result is a midrange disc that’s smoother, sleeker, and suspiciously more obedient than its predecessor. Lower profile, refined parting line, and a beadless rim give it an effortlessly clean release with just the right amount of torque resistance. Whether you’re threading tight fairways or parking hyzer flips, the new M5 feels like it already knows where you want it to go – and actually listens.
Slightly less stable than the old M5, it now turns a touch more willingly for average arms while still fighting back just enough to keep power throwers honest.
Available in four outstanding plastics (because choices are fun):
- 400 Plastic – The everyday workhorse. Grippy when wet, tough enough to survive tree love, and seasons in beautifully without turning into a taco. Basically, the reliable friend who always shows up on time and never flakes.
- 500 Plastic – Take 400, make it a little stiffer, a little more durable, and give it that premium “new car” feel that lasts forever.
- 400 Glow – Same beloved 400 plastic, now with a glow core that charges fast and shines bright enough to make night rounds look like a rave.
- 750 Glimmer – The limited-edition show-off. Ultra-stiff, ultra-durable 750 plastic mixed with sparkly glimmer flakes that catch light like it owes them money. Throws like a dream, looks like it belongs in a display case.

Prodigy was founded on the idea to constantly inject innovation into the sport. Their original mission was to develop a more consistent range of discs no matter if they were thrown by seasoned veterans - like their founders - or those new to the game. Longer flight and improved accuracy is their main focus as they developed their full line of discs.
In 2013 they introduced a line of discs to the toughest audience they could think of - the highest ranked players in the world. And the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. We still can't believe that our invitation to the introduction was lost in the mail. At least, that's what they told us.
