Swedish for "stone", the Sten flies a bit further than a stone can be thrown. It's the first catch-and-throw disc from Kastaplast and has a top similar to a Berg, but has way more glide than a Berg. It has enough stability for a slight fade at the end of the flight. It's being made in Kastaplast's new K4 plastic, a soft, tacky plastic that's perfect for catching and throwing.
K4 plastic is a super-grippy, tacky, soft plastic. Easily bendable, it was created for the release of Kastaplast's catch and throw disc.
Known for having some of the best plastic in the business, Kastaplast is probably the most popular import in the disc golf market in the US. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, they are also well-known for the level of engineering and design they put into each one of their molds.
As their name implies - it literally translates to "throw plastic" - all of their hard work is geared towards creating the ultimate disc golf experience. And, yes, it is true. We are working very hard to get them to change their name to Kastaplast Skrikyeet - literally "Throw plastic, scream YEET".
