MVP's Fission is an Ultra-Lightweight Neutron Core plastic with imperceptible micro-bubbles. The bubbles allow for more lightweight discs. Light throwing weight can give you greater distance and accurate feel in low wind conditions.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first company to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 40+ and counting - that implement the new molding process.
