The Particle is a microbeaded, flat-top putter that is more like an overstable disk. The Particle is a great putter for off the tee shots or for close range shots. It can handle a lot of torque, which is great for high speed drives off the tee or for confident upshots. On longer putts, the Particle will fade towards the end of flight.
Particle Glow Proton is a new plastic type that features glow particles inside Proton plastic to create an unique look. The glow particles shine brightly under UV light, while activating the base color of Proton plastic at the same time. It’s one part color-glow and another part a field of glowing particles!
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first company to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 40+ and counting - that implement the new molding process.
