As the first disc in the James Conrad line with MVP, the image on the Special Edition Nomad evokes Conrad's sprit of a traveller and wanderer with a vista from Arches National Park in Utah.
The disc is the ideal James Conrad putter. It has a small bead so one can expect a neutral flight inside the circle, with some fade kicking in at Circle 2 — making the Nomad great at holding anhyzer or hyzer angles when need be. Off the tee, the Nomad’s straight-stable flight will let throwers of all power levels experience confident, straight lines with just enough glide to stick under the basket — not blow past it.
R2 Blue Eclipse combines the recycled R2 Neutron plastic with a blue glow Eclipse rim to make a special combo for special releases.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first comapny to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 39 and counting - that implement the new molding process.
