The Detour is the first midrange in the James Conrad lineup from MVP. Fitting perfectly between the Axiom Hex and MVP Uplink, this disc is perfect for Conrad's game as a backhand specialist as it excels at those long panning turnovers as well as easy hyzer-flips. OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first comapny to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 39 and counting - that implement the new molding process.
