The Longhorn is the second driver created by Mint Discs and is the overstable companion to the understable Freetail driver disc. It is a speedy driver designed to flip to flat just a little bit while also being able to resist moderate winds.
Typically opaque in color, the premium Apex Swirl plastic is designed for top optimal grip without sacrificing durability. This blend has slightly more glide helping it to carry forward. The swirl gives is a fantastic look!
Mint Discs is an Austin, TX-based disc golf manufacturer founded in 2015. What they lack in age they have made up for in development and research. With the launch of their first disc, the Alpha, in 2017 they showed what two years of cogitating and dreaming can produce.
Mint Discs now has a line of 7 discs found in 5 different plastics including their premium line Apex which has top-notch gripping while still maintaining durability. Not sure if it will help our griplock, but will definitely help with surviving tree doinks!
