The Warrior is a sweet midrange disc with surprising speed. It has the same features as the Element, but is more overstable and slightly faster with the same great glide and control.
The Warrior can handle more power than the Element and other midranges; thanks to its speed it's a great disc for long upshots right to the pin, or for those mid-range hyzer approaches. It's also a great midrange disc to use when throwing into light headwinds.
Organic runs are made using a combination of recycled rubber and a renewable resource (corn based bio-polymer) making an eco-friendly product. Most organic discs produce a very chalky surface and fall in between Suregrip and Super Soft.
As their name implies Gateway is based in St. Louis and has been active in the disc golf community since 1994. When they're not busy help design disc golf courses (the current count is over 90!) they have created a special line of discs including their popular putter the Wizard.
They were the first to develop wide-winged drivers to battle wicked headwinds and currently have over 32 PDGA-approved models available in three plastic blends: Diamond, Platinum and Sure Grip. They've recently started working with hemp polymers which is sure to attract a, uh... um... new market of players.
