The Magic is the most popular putter offered by Gateway and one of the best all around discs for both new and advanced players. It's a straight-flying putt & approach disc that is easy for beginners to control because of its great glide and small amount of low speed fade. This is also an easy disc to turn over and will hold just about any line it is thrown on without hyzering out.
The 3S putt & approach discs are flexible in both the rim and flight plate, flexing in half at 9-13 lbs of pressure. This flex is perfect for flick putters and chest putting where thumb pressure is applied to the flight plate and the discs are sprung out of the hand upon release.
As their name implies Gateway is based in St. Louis and has been active in the disc golf community since 1994. When they're not busy help design disc golf courses (the current count is over 90!) they have created a special line of discs including their popular putter the Wizard.
They were the first to develop wide-winged drivers to battle wicked headwinds and currently have over 32 PDGA-approved models available in three plastic blends: Diamond, Platinum and Sure Grip. They've recently started working with hemp polymers which is sure to attract a, uh... um... new market of players.
