New in the Evolution line from Discmania, the Spore is a PDGA-approved catch-and-throw putter made with Soft Neo plastic. It floats and wafts throught the air with plenty of glide. While it is categorized as a putter due to the 1-speed designation, it's a bit deeper and flies straighter with less effort.
Soft Neo plastic is considerably softer and more flexible than traditional Neo plastic. The grip and look of the plastic is the same high quality, but the gummier composition of Soft Neo makes discs more catchable and they will not skip as far.
Started by Finnish professional disc golfer Jussi Meresmaa, Discmania is taking its mantra of "Reinvent Your Game" seriously by offering innovative products like the P2 putter used by many professionals, and the DD3 driver.
No word what DD3 means in Finnish though. We think it means "Dang tree". Well, at least when we throw it with our noodle arm.
