The Banger GT (The GT stands for Groove Top, not because it has a V8 engine - we stand corrected) is a unique putter with a groove around the top (see?) and a large bead that help provide an enhanced grip. It's a very popular, slightly overstable putter useful for hyzer putts and a consistent release.
Evidently Discraft is wanting to "get freaky" with their plastics. Gone is the Pro-D plastic. Say hello to the Putter Line! This plastic feels close to the Pro-D, but has the smell and texture of Jawbreaker.
OK, we get it. There are waaaaay toooooo maaaany zzz's in the Buzzz. But have you thrown one? There's a reason why it's one of the most popular mid-range discs for pros and amateurs alike.
And Discraft didn't stop there. They have created a very successful lineup of discs and unique plastic blends. I mean, they got Paul McBeth throwing their stuff! That's huge!
