The Dino Discs Triceratops is an ultra lightweight putt and approach disc that is great for kids and new players. This is a beadless putter with a deep rimmed feel and excellent glide. The Triceratops is available in Ancient and Egg Shell Plastics. Triceratops discs generally range between 120 and 130grams.
Egg Shell plastic was originally designed by ABC Discs and was incorporated into the Dino Discs line quickly. It is a surprisingly grippy, yet semi-firm plastic blend with some really fun decorative effects like splatters, swirls, and sparkles. It helps the Dino Discs molds look bright and whimsical.
Dino Discs are designed for small children that are unable to throw very far. They perform best for people who throw golf discs less than 150 feet. In most instances they are appropriate for kids age10 and under, but it depends on the child. Some 12 year old’s will prefer a Dino Disc to a normal weight disc. Some nine year old’s will see increased performance with a heavier disc. Many women and senior citizens prefer the ultra light weight Dino Discs over traditional golf discs.
