Bordering the line between stable and overstable, the Defy flies straight with a skosh of fade at the end. Players seeking a long straight driver (well, who isn't?) will appreciate the line-locking tendencies of the Defy, and throwers not fully powering it will still get a highly usable overstable disc.
The Defy is best described as a more stable MVP Photon or a longer Axiom Clash. Like the Clash the Defy is remarkably resistant to turnover even at high power.
Axiom's Fission is an Ultra-Lightweight Neutron Core plastic with imperceptible micro-bubbles. The bubbles allow for more lightweight discs. Light throwing weight can give you greater distance and accurate feel in low wind conditions. However, they have expanded the Fission plastic into heavier weighted discs since the plastic has a grippy feel and creates clean releases.
