Mint Discs has "clawed" their way into the understable midrange market with the Lobster. It comes out of the hand smoothly so beginners can spin it flat for tons of glide, and higher powered players can hyzer flip it for long controlled turnovers.
As its name implies, the Sublime line of plastic from Mint inspires admiration. With the optimal mix of grip and durability this top-of-the-line plastic will typically have an opaque metallic look or brilliant sparkle effect and is used for limited edition discs and tournament stamps.
Mint Discs is an Austin, TX-based disc golf manufacturer founded in 2015. What they lack in age they have made up for in development and research. With the launch of their first disc, the Alpha, in 2017 they showed what two years of cogitating and dreaming can produce.
Mint Discs now has a line of 7 discs found in 5 different plastics including their premium line Apex which has top-notch gripping while still maintaining durability. Not sure if it will help our griplock, but will definitely help with surviving tree doinks!
