The Madrone from Above Ground Level is a stable putt and approach disc with a groove on the top for a comfortable fit and feel. It's less overstable than it's counterpart, the Manzanita, and is the top selling disc in the Above Ground Level lineup.
Woodland plastic is very grippy. Not as premium as AGL's Alpine plastic, this material is mainly used for their putter lines giving the player a confident grip in all weather conditions.
Above Ground Level is a family-owned disc golf company in the bay area of California. All of their products are proudly made in the USA. They have a full lineup of discs and have worked through engineering as well as real world trial and error to come up with an unique set. The name comes from the company’s policy of viewing the sport from “the 10,000 foot level”. It was formed in 2011 by Josh Jones and Sam Cooper, and has been operating under the name Above Ground Level since 2016. Sam also started the disc golf apparel company, ChainBang Disc Golf.
