The Spin is an understable P&A disc introduced by MVP in 2016. It has a deep profile like the Ion and Anode, which makes it great for glide-filled lofty flights. Its controlled understability makes it suitable for both new and advanced players alike.
R2 Neutron is the latest material from MVP and their first step towards making disc golf a more reusable and environmentally sustainable sport. Replicating the look and feel of classic Neutron, this plastic will only be available in black cores with white rims (to differentiate from the classic MVP lineup). R2 Neutron discs will fly the same as their Neutron counterparts.
OK, so it turns out that if you have a father with a plastic injection molding shop and have a passion for disc golf, chances are you're going to go into the disc manufacturing business. At least that's what happened with brothers Brad and Chad Anderson.
They were the first comapny to come up with the idea of "overmolding" when they introduced their first disc - the Ion - in 2009. They now have a full lineup of discs - 39 and counting - that implement the new molding process.
